Activities at Kauppila
The farm is surrounded by plenty of recreation opportunities around the year. The beach, nice canoe routes and perfect fishing locations are nearby. In the autumn, nature invites you to gather berries and mushrooms, and in the winter, the skiing grounds are unbeatable.
After a busy family celebration, hen/stag party or business event you may want relax in the steamy smoke sauna, or take part in a guided recreation activity.
Smoke sauna and hot tub
The smoke sauna will carry you away from your daily worries. The gentle scents, sounds and atmosphere calm the soul and relax the body. Top it off with a dip in the hot tub – an invigorating experience especially in the frosty winter.
We will heat up the smoke sauna and hot tub on request.
Farm museum tour
The centuries-long history of the Kauppila farm comes alive on the Farm museum tour, hosted by Kalle the farmer himself. Kalle has endless stories and anecdotes to share: his family has run the farm since the 1800’s. Many of the interesting items in the museum date even further back in history.

Outdoor competitions
Small competitions offer variety to a meeting day and are suitable for hen/stag parties.
Choose three sports from the following examples:
- wheelbarrow relay
- archery
- skilled ATV driving
- axe throwing
- welly throwing
- quiz
- garden orienteering for kids
The activities are suitable for team and individual competitions.

Wilderness hut excursions
A hiking excursion to the Uuraslahti VIP wilderness hut, about three kilometres from Kauppila. At the destination, we will grill sausages and make campfire coffee. Upon agreement, we can also cook our main meal at the wilderness hut.
Price € 10 / person (minimum 10 persons) includes:
